The Hillview Police Department launched a homicide investigation on October 31 after a body was found with gunshot wounds near an intersection in Hillview.
Police said it was early on Thursday when the body of an 18-year-old was found near the intersection of Hillview Boulevard and Norwood Way. Detectives said they believe this is an isolated incident, and that there is no threat to the community.
Hillview detectives are working to collect evidence and identify potential witnesses. They ask anyone who may have information to come forward and assist in the investigation.
This is an ongoing investigation.
