
For an extended time, detectives with the Allen County-Scottsville Crime Task Force investigated illegal drug activity as a residence.
On November 5, detectives obtained a search warrant for a residence in the 600 block of West Main Street.
According to the press release, 51-year-old Scottie L. Cook, of Scottsville, was detained as the search warrant was served.
The search warrant yielded suspected methamphetamine, heroin, and drug paraphernalia.
He was arrested and charged with first-degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), first-degree possession of a controlled substance (heroin) and possession of drug paraphernalia.
He was lodged in the Allen County Detention Center.
