Trial dates have been set for the three men facing charges in the disappearance of Crystal Rogers.
The trial for Steven Eugene Lawson will begin on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, in Bowling Green. It was originally scheduled to start on February 10, but a heavy docket for Warren Circuit Court necessitated the one day delay.
The jury trials for Brooks Houck and Joseph Lawson are set to start on Tuesday, June 24, 2025.
Houck is charged with the disappearance and presumed murder of 35 year-old Crystal Rogers, who was his girlfriend. She was last seen alive on last seen on July 3, 2015. Her car was found abandoned two days later on the Bluegrass Parkway. Steven and Joseph Lawson are charged with complicity to murder and tampering with evidence.
Earlier this month, Nelson Circuit Court Judge Charles Simms III ordered a separate trial for Steven Lawson. The trials for Houck and Joseph Lawson will be consolidated.
The trials for the three were moved from Nelson County to Warren County because of pre-trial publicity.
