
A jury has convicted a Carroll County man on multiple counts of rape and sexual abuse that happened over a 10-year period.
Terry Glacken, 50, was found guilty on November 8, 2024, on the following charges:
Sodomy in the First Degree, Victim Under 12
Rape in the First Degree, Forcible Compulsion
Rape in the First Degree, Forcible Compulsion
Incest
Sexual Abuse in the First Degree, Victim Under 12
Rape in the First Degree, Victim Under 12
Sexual Abuse in the First Degree, Victim under 12

Kentucky State Police say they began an investigation into Glacken in June 2021 after a female victim reported she had been sexually abused over a 10-year period. The young woman said the abuse started when she was a juvenile.
According to Kentucky State Police, the investigation led to the discovery of two additional sexual abuse victims. Glacken was indicted by a grand jury in November 2021.
Glacken remains in the Carroll County Detention Center. Formal sentencing will take place in January 2025.
