A man riding a bike is dead after being struck by semi-truck on Westport Road Saturday evening.
Around 5 p.m., St. Matthews Police responded to a scene of a man riding a bike injured by a semi-truck on Westport Road near Sherrin Avenue, according to St. Matthews Police Chief Barry Wilkerson.
Authorities said the man was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Officers at the time were unable to confirm why the man was struck and there are no charges at this time.
The driver of the semi-truck stayed at the scene.
