A pedestrian is dead after being hit by a vehicle in Valley Station Saturday, November 23.
Louisville police said the crash happened around 2:30 a.m. at Valley Station and Grafton Hall roads. An initial investigation showed a van was heading east on Valley Station Road when it struck a woman who was walking in the roadway. The pedestrian died before she could be taken to the hospital.
Police said the driver remained at the scene, and currently, no charges are expected to be filed against them.
LMPD’s Traffic Unit is investigating.
