A Newport man is facing charges after allegedly helping a Greensburg juvenile flee her home.
On Tuesday, November 26, the Greensburg Police Department responded to a complaint of a missing juvenile, who they say left her home without her mother’s knowledge.
A multi-day investigation ensued, leading officers to 21 year-old Joshua Clark, of Newport. Police say Clark had assisted the juvenile in abandoning her home and leaving the area.
A warrant was obtained for Clark, and he was taken into custody by the Newport Police Department. The missing juvenile was located at this time as well, according to officers.
Clark is charged with second-degree unlawful transaction with a minor, distribution of obscene matter to minors (first offense) and custodial interference.
The investigation is ongoing, and further charges are expected.
He remains lodged in the Campbell County Detention Center on a $25,000 cash bond.
