Changes are coming to car registration renewals for some Kentuckians.
Starting in 2025, drivers with a specialty license plate will be due to renew their registration in their birth month.
The change is statewide, as renewals for specialty plates were previously due in December.
Drivers will only have to pay fees annually, preventing customers from being cheated out of months already paid.
For more information, drivers are encouraged to check with their local county clerk’s office.
