Workers at GE’s Appliance Park voted Wednesday to reject a proposed four-year agreement with the company.
GE said in a statement they are “deeply disappointed” in the vote.
A GE employee said that 73% of union members rejected the contract.
The union told members that, while they will try to get the company back to the negotiating table, members should be prepared to strike if GE doesn’t return to negotiations.
