A body was found with a gunshot wound after a report came in about a home on fire in south Louisville.
Shortly after 8 a.m. on Monday, December 16, Louisville Metro police officers were called to the 1100 block of Bicknell Avenue near Cliff Park in the Beechmont neighborhood for the reported house fire.
Louisville Metro police said a male victim who had been shot was found there. The victim’s name and age haven’t been released.
The LMPD Homicide Unit and Louisville Metro Arson are currently investigating. Anyone with information can call the police department’s anonymous tip line at 502-574-LMPD (5673) or use the online LMPD Crime Tip Portal.
