
A man has been arrested in connection to a shooting in Louisville’s Park Hill neighborhood that left one man dead and two others hospitalized, according to Louisville Metro Police Department.
The shooting happened on September 8th in the 2500 block of Woodland Avenue just after midnight. Officers found a man who had been shot multiple times. He died before he could be transported to a hospital.
Two other men who had also been shot arrived at UofL Hospital a short time after the shooting. During the investigation, it was found they were also at Woodland Avenue.
On Monday, December 16, LMPD’s Homicide Unit arrested 26-year-old Gordon Jackson. He was arrested on an active warrant and lodged in the Louisville Metro Department of Corrections. He was charged with murder, assault and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.
