
An Ohio man was arrested after police said he intentionally set fire to a home while people were inside.
The man was identified as 34 year-old Cory Wilkinsen. He was taken into custody on December 17 after he led Louisville Metro Police officers on a chase in a car that was reported stolen. Police said he then barricaded himself inside a home on Floyd Street and then intentionally started a fire in the crawlspace of the home while two people were inside.
While he was being taken into custody, police said they found methamphetamine in his pocket.
He is facing several charges that include arson, drug possession and wanton endangerment.
He is being held in the Louisville Metro Department of Corrections.
