An Owensboro man was arrested Saturday afternoon after another man arrived at the Owensboro Regional Hospital with a stab wound.
Owensboro Police Department officials say the initial investigation suggests the assault happened at the Cadillac Motel in Owensboro.
Officers secured the crime scene and detained 26-year-old Brandon Cook.
Criminal Investigation Department detectives responded to continue the investigation.
Police say this is an isolated incident.
Cook was booked into the Daviess County Detention Center under a $25,000 cash bond and is being charged with Assault, 1st Degree. He is scheduled to appear in court on Monday, December 23.
