
Two men are dead and three others are in the hospital after a shooting in the California neighborhood on Saturday, December 21.
Louisville Police responded to a call of a shooting in the 2600 block of Garland Avenue around 7:30 p.m. Officers arrived to find two men dead and two men injured from the shooting. Those two men were both taken to UofL Hospital. One is in stable condition and the other is in critical, but stable condition, according to LMPD Lt. Les Skaggs.
Skaggs also said there is no present danger to the area.
In an update Sunday, police said they had found a fifth victim in the shooting around 2:30a.m. Sunday. He was taken to UofL Hospital where he is in serious yet stable condition.
