Louisville police have arrested a man they said fired a weapon at another car while driving on the interstate.
Deiontay Muhammad, 42, is charged with wanton endangerment.
An arrest citation said the driver of the car shot at told officers he was pulling onto I-264 West from Taylor Boulevard.
The driver said he drove around Muhammad’s car, which was pulled over halfway in the emergency lane, and then onto I-264. Police said Muhammad then drove off and pulled up next to the car and fired the gun toward them.
Inside the car were two adults and two children.
No one was injured and the car was not damaged. The victims filed a police report after they were able to get Muhammad’s license plate. Muhammad was arrested on December 20 and lodged in the Louisville Metro Department of Corrections.
