Several people in the St. Matthews area had their vehicles broken into the day after Christmas, and St. Matthews Police is investigating.
Maj. Tony Cobaugh said the eight vehicle break-ins were around Shelbyville Road and Hubbards Lane.
He said the suspect would break the vehicle’s window and would take what was inside.
Cobaugh said surveillance video showed the suspect’s vehicle, a silver Hyundai Sonata, has damage to the driver’s door.
