
A man is in the hospital in critical condition after a hit and run on West Broadway Saturday evening.
Louisville Metro Police responded to the call around 7:15 p.m. at the intersection of 28th and West Broadway to find a man who had been hit by a vehicle. Officers administered first aid until EMS could arrive and take him to UofL Hospital. A Louisville Metro Police Department spokesperson said the man’s injuries are life-threatening.
The initial investigation determined the man was crossing Broadway in the crosswalk at 28th Street when he was hit by a vehicle going eastbound on Broadway. The driver did not stop and made a right turn at 28th Street.
Louisville Metro Police Department is asking anybody with information, surveillance video or who was in the area at the time to call the anonymous tip line at 502-574-LMPD or utilize the Crime Tip Portal to send pictures or video.
