A Cecilia man is dead after a single-vehicle crash just before midnight Saturday in Hardin County.
Cody Elliott, 30, was pronounced dead at the scene in the 3200 block of Constantine Road near the Breckinridge County line after emergency responders were unable to resuscitate him.
The Hardin County Sheriff’s Office reports deputies were dispatched at 11:59 p.m. Friday to the scene where callers reported an unconscious driver.
An investigation determined the vehicle operated by Elliott exited the left side of the road for undetermined reasons, oversteered crossing the road to the right and struck a tree head-on.
The crash remains under investigation by the Hardin County’s Sheriff’s Office.
