
Owensboro Police Department officials have arrested an Owensboro man on several possession and distribution charges of Sexual Performance by Minor under 12.
An arrest was made Friday from the result of an Internet Crimes Against Children task force investigation that was reported by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children regarding child sexual abuse material.
The investigation led to the identity of 36-year-old Corey Mattingly as the suspect and was taken into custody.
Detectives executed a search warrant in the 6000 block of KY 1389.
Mattingly was arrested and booked into the Daviess County Detention Center on the following charges:
Distribution of Matter Portraying Sex Performance by Minor under 12 (20 counts)
Possess Matter Portraying Sexual Performance by Minor under 12 (20 counts)
Distribution of Matter Portraying Sex Performance by Minor over 12 (14 counts)
Possession of Matter Portraying Sex Performance by Minor over 12 (14 counts)
He is being held under a $500,000 cash bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Monday, January 6.
