A person was stabbed to death in Okolona on Saturday afternoon, according to Louisville Metro Police.
LMPD Sgt. Matt Sanders said police responded to a stabbing in the 8000 block of Red Cedar Way near Outer Loop at 2:32 p.m. When police arrived on scene, they found a female with multiple stab wounds.
She was pronounced dead at the scene. LMPD’s Homicide Unit is investigating the stabbing.
Sanders said it is the first reported homicide in 2025.
