
The Christian County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a burglary on Bradshaw Road on Thursday, January 2.
According to the release, the victim’s buildings were burglarized, with multiple items totaling thousands of dollars stolen. Deputies were able to link 37-year-old Joshua Craig and 36-year-old Courtney Roland, both of Hopkinsville, to the thefts.
A search warrant was executed at the pair’s residence in the 2000 block of Butler Road, where Craig and Roland were found.
Law enforcement recovered most of the stolen items and also found drug paraphernalia, marijuana, methamphetamine, Psylocibin mushrooms, and suspected fentanyl inside the residence.
Both were arrested and charged with receiving stolen property ($1,000-$10,000), first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance (meth), trafficking in marijuana, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance (drug unspecified) and first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance (hallucinogen).
Both suspects were transported to the Christian County Jail.
