A man is facing multiple charges, including DUI and assault on law enforcement, after a crash in Trigg County.
According to a report, the crash happened on Thursday when a truck, driven by 28-year-old Alan Fox, of Cadiz, ran off the road and into a ditch at the intersection of Princeton Road and Hurricane Road.
Trigg County Sheriff Aaron Acree said Fox suffered “visibly severe injuries,” but he refused to go to the hospital and grabbed a deputy at the crash scene. However, he was eventually taken to a hospital for medical clearance.
Fox was arrested and charged with DUI second offense, terroristic threatening, third-degree assault, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, and he was also cited for not wearing a seat belt.
