A man is in the hospital after being shot in Valley Station, according the Louisville Metro Police Department.
They say around 11:33 p.m. on Friday, officers responded to the parking lot of UofL Southwest Hospital in the 9700 block of Stonestreet Road.
When officers arrived they found a man inside a car with a gunshot wound.
He was alert and conscious when officers got to him and he was taken to University Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to Louisville Metro Police Department.
They say the shooting happened in another undetermined location but there are no suspects at this time.
The LMPD Non-Fatal Shooting Unit is investigating.
