
A Bowling Green man was jailed Wednesday following a physical disturbance that escalated to violence.
Bowling Green police arrested 36-year-old Jesse R. Chiles after a verbal altercation reportedly turned violent when Chiles threw two knives.
One victim claimed that Chiles threw a knife, striking them in the head with the handle. The same victim also said Chiles delivered a “light punch.” Another victim reported that Chiles pushed her.
Police also found Chiles in possession of a glass pipe with methamphetamine residue. He was arrested and transported to the Warren County Regional Jail.
Chiles faces charges of first-degree wanton endangerment, harassment, and first-degree possession of a controlled substance.
He is being held under a $3,000 cash bond and scheduled to appear in court on January 17.
