A Bowling Green fugitive, who authorities say had evaded arrest for over a year, has been arrested on federal drug charges.
Dennis Richardson, 42, was apprehended Tuesday after a search warrant was executed in Plano, according to a release. The warrant was executed by ATF agents, Bowling Green-Warren County Drug Task Force detectives and Warren County Sheriff’s Office deputies.
Following the search of a residence on Goodrum Road, Richardson was found hiding from agents inside a kitchen bar cabinet, according to the release. He was taken into custody without further resistance.
In addition, authorities say 40 year-old Rana Ghayoumi lied about Richardson’s presence at her residence and was taken into custody as well.
Richardson is charged with Possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine (federal charge), Possession of a firearm by a prohibited person (federal charge) and Possession of a firearm in furtherance of drug trafficking (Federal Charge).
Ghayoumi is charged with second-degree hindering prosecution or apprehension.
Both were lodged in the Warren County Regional Jail.
Richardson is being held without bond.
Rana Ghayoumi was release on her own recognizance without having to post any bond.
ATF agents and Bowling Green-Warren County Drug Task Force made the arrests with assistance from the Warren County Sheriff’s Office and Bowling Green Police K-9.
