Louisville Police has arrested several suspected street racers and taken their cars after they were caught racing in downtown Louisville.
An officer in an unmarked car saw two drivers racing on Main Street around 7 p.m. Sunday. He called for backup and Louisville Metro Police ended up arresting five people, towing three vehicles and recovering two handguns.
Both vehicles involved in the race will now sit at Louisville Metro Police Department’s impound lot for the next six months.
