A man is dead after a shooting in the Plantation neighborhood near Lyndon in east Louisville Tuesday afternoon.
Louisville Police responded to a report of a shooting just before 2:30 p.m. on January 28 in the 8800 block of Malvern Hill Road, just off of Westport Road near Portland Christian School.
The first officers who arrived found a man inside a home who had been shot. They administered first aid until EMS could arrive and take him to UofL Hospital. The man died shortly after arriving at the hospital.
Hours later, Louisville Metro Police Department announced the arrest of 19-year-old Tahj Harrison and are charging him with murder in relation to the shooting.
