Madisonville Police Department officials say a woman was arrested on several charges, including drug possession.
According to an affidavit, police made a traffic stop Tuesday at the intersection of Grapevine and McLeod Road after seeing a moped driving without a driver-side mirror and an expired temporary tag.
Officers say the driver, later identified as 22 year-old Tristin Revelle of Madisonville, told police she did not have a driver’s license but was driving to pick someone up.
Revelle was also aware that her registration was out of date.
Upon further investigation, police found that the registration had been altered and was issued in 2005.
Revelle was placed under arrest and transferred to the Hopkins County Jail.
During a police search, officers found a plastic baggie of meth on her.
Revelle is facing the following charges:
Possession of a Controlled Substance
No Rear View Mirror
No Registration Plates
No Operators – Moped License
She is being held under a $1,000 cash bond and is scheduled to appear in court on February 7.
