A man was arrested Sunday evening after leading state troopers on a pursuit in Glasgow.
According to Kentucky State Police Post 3 Trooper Katan Parker, 44 year-old Bobby W. Johnson fled after a trooper attempted to stop him for lacking visible registration plates on his car.
A vehicle pursuit began just before 5 p.m. along Pace Quarry Road and lasted several minutes before the vehicle was stopped along Munfordville Road.
Trooper Parker said Johnson attempted to ram one of the Kentucky State Police cruisers involved in the pursuit. A vehicle was damaged but no troopers were hurt during the encounter.
Johnson was lodged at the Barren County Detention Center and is charged with nearly 20 charges, including attempted murder of a first responder (peace officer), first-degree wanton endangerment (police officer), driving on a DUI suspended license (third offense) and first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance.
Johnson was scheduled to appear in court on Monday afternoon. He is being held under a $500,000 cash bond.
