The Allen County Sheriff’s Office arrested a man they found asleep in his vehicle, after finding illegal narcotics with him Thursday.
Deputies were called to the scene because 35-year-old Zachery Rexroat, of Scottsville, was asleep inside a vehicle in the parking lot of Liberty Church on Halifax Road.
Upon making contact with him, they found about 17 grams of suspected methamphetamine and numerous drug paraphernalia.
Rexroat was arrested and is currently in the Allen County Detention Center.
He is charged with first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, public intoxication and possession of a controlled substance.
