
Storms that pushed through the region Wednesday night into Thursday morning left areas north of Munfordville with damage.
The National Weather Service in Louisville confirmed an EF-1 tornado impacted northern Hart County just south of the LaRue County line. Surveyors were in the area Thursday.
The National Weather Service also reported straight line wind damage in Grayson County near Wax. Winds were approximately 60 miles per hour in the area and were observed from tree damage assessment.
They advised people to report damage to area emergency management teams.
Other parts of Kentucky saw strong storms overnight, including Rockcastle County, where at least two homes and a barn were damaged near Livingston.
