Daviess County Sheriff’s deputies say the Owensboro Police Department helped them find a man suspected of human trafficking.
Officials say 44-year-old James Paris was arrested Saturday near Smothers Park in downtown Owensboro.
Deputies received several calls and tips after asking for help from the public on Thursday.
Paris is now in the Daviess County Jail, charged with Human Trafficking, Procuring/Promoting the use of a minor by Electronic Means, and Possession of Marijuana and Meth.
He is being held under a $500,000 cash bond and is scheduled to appear in court on February 26.
