Two men were arrested in connection with a reported sexual assault on UK’s campus.
Police say the two suspects are known to the victim.
A criminal complaint states that 18-year-old Angus Thompson of Louisville and 18-year-old Addison Adkins have been arrested.
According to the UK Police Department, it happened in Thompson’s room at a residence hall on February 18.
Thompson is charged with first-degree rape, while Adkins faces charges of first-degree rape and second-degree strangulation.
Thompson is being held in the Fayette County Detention Center with a $25,000 bail. Adkins was arraigned at 1 p.m Tuesday.
