
The body found outside a burned vehicle in Taylor County has been identified as a teenager from Oldham County.
In a release issued February 28, the Kentucky State Police Columbia post says their assistance was requested that day at a scene on Gaddis Ridge Road after a burned vehicle was found with a body nearby.
The Taylor County coroner has confirmed the body as being 17 year-old Nathan Hammond. A published obituary says Hammond was a student at Oldham County High School.
The cause of Hammond’s death has not been released.
The investigation is ongoing by the Kentucky State Police.
