A former Kentucky juvenile detention center guard has been arrested and charged with criminal abuse.
Former Captain Tyler Lynn is facing charges from two incidents in the same day, both ending in him breaking the arms of juveniles at the McCracken Regional Juvenile Detention Center.
Those incidents happened in October. Two months later, Lynn was fired from his position. His letter of dismissal said his use of force was both excessive and unwarranted.
Kentucky State Police said Lynn has now been arrested, citing those incidents. He is charged with two counts of criminal abuse, which could carry up to five years in prison each.
