Kentucky State Police arrested a 35 year-old Green County man after learning he obtained child sexual abuse material.
Kentucky State Police Post 15 became aware of the attempt from the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office in Florida. Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office was able to obtain the IP address, which showed a residence located on Columbia Highway in Green County.
Kentucky State Police Post 15 detectives obtained and executed a search warrant at the address, finding sexual photos and videos of children on electronic devices, marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Ian Douglas was taken into custody on Wednesday, March 5, 2025.
Douglas was charged with:
20 counts of possessing matter portraying sexual performance by a minor over the age of 12 but less than 18
Trafficking in marijuana
Possession of drug paraphernalia
Douglas is being held in the Taylor County Detention Center without bond.
