
Two people were injured after a house caught on fire in the Shawnee neighborhood Sunday afternoon.
Louisville Fire said around 3:11 p.m., crews were called to the 4300 block of River Park Drive. There, they found a 1.5 story home with heavy smoke and fire coming from the first floor. It took 32 firefighters 17 minutes to gain control of the fire.
Louisville Fire Department said two people got themselves out of the house, but both were injured. They were treated and taken to the hospital. No one else was reported injured.
