
Teenagers will now be able to get their driver’s permit before their 16th birthday in the Bluegrass State.
On Tuesday, Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear signed House Bill 15 that lowers the age requirement from 16 to 15.
Governor Beshear said he signed the bill knowing it will help working families better juggle all of life’s activities.
Kentucky’s bordering states allow learner’s permits starting at 15 years of age or 15 years and six months.
