Due to recent staffing cuts and an active prolonged threat of severe weather and hydro concerns the next several days officials at the National Weather Service’s Louisville office are saying storm crews likely won’t be able to survey mid-week storm damage and confirm tornadoes for several days.
In the meantime, National Weather Service officials are asking folks to send them photos of damage so they can evaluate the damage. That will allow them to plan on where they need to go once they have the available staff to do the surveys.
