The Hardin County Justice Center in Elizabethtown will be closed through Friday, April 11.
Persistent, often heavy rains since Wednesday night have caused flooding in the basement and electrical issues at the center.
All dockets are canceled and court notices will be sent out to those scheduled for appearances.
Judge John Simcoe said once waters recede, cleanup efforts will begin after inspections of the mechanical equipment in the basement. Officials will reassess the situation on Friday.
