
Inmates from the Bullitt County Jail were moved to the Louisville Metro Corrections Department on Sunday as severe flooding impacts Bullitt County.
According to Major Jason Logsdon with Louisville Metro Department of Corrections, the department got a call on Sunday morning from the Bullitt County Jail asking if they could house some of their inmates due to flooding.
Logsdon said said they are glad to be able to assist their neighboring communities during this devastating disaster.
