
A Glasgow man was arrested over the weekend on drug possession charges.
According to Glasgow Police, 39 year-old Randy S. Claxton was stopped on West Water Street for having a vehicle without a rear license plate light.
During the stop, Claxton allegedly dropped a baggie of cocaine while outside his vehicle. Officers also discovered methamphetamine wrapped in cellophane.
Claxton was arrested and charged with first-degree possession of a controlled substance (cocaine) and first-degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), along with several traffic violations.
He is currently being held at the Barren County Detention Center under a $2,500 cash bond.
