Hardin County Sheriff deputies responded to a stabbing on Methodist Street in Cecilia around 8:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Deputies confirmed a stabbing had occurred during an altercation between 52 year-old Charles Jeffries and 42 year-old Ryan Wilkerson, both of Cecilia.
Wilkerson was flown from the scene to the University of Louisville Hospital, where he is being treated for severe but non-life-threatening injuries.
Jeffries is currently being held at the Hardin County Detention Center under a $10,000 cash bond on charges of Assault in the second degree. He is scheduled to appear in court on April 14.
The Hardin County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division was called to the scene, and the case is currently under investigation.
