Kentuckians affected by the recent severe weather have until November 3, 2025, to file their returns and pay any taxes originally due by April 15.
According to the announcement, individuals and businesses impacted by the severe storms, straight-line winds, flooding and landslides beginning on February 14 are eligible for the tax relief.
The IRS has automatically identified taxpayers in the covered disaster area but invites those affected living outside the area to request relief by calling the IRS Special Services at 866-562-5227.
