A man is facing a murder charge for the 2019 shooting death of 24-year-old Martinus Williams, Jr.
Williams was found with multiple bullet wounds on July 31, 2019 inside a former beauty salon near the intersection of 23rd and Oak Streets.
Thursday, Louisville Metro Police Department announced a Jefferson County Grand Jury returned an indictment charging 24-year-old Rotez Sykes with murder, robbery and tampering with physical evidence.
Sykes is currently being held in the Eastern Kentucky Regional Correctional Institute and will be in court after he is transported to Jefferson County.
