A man has been arrested in connection to a shooting Saturday evening in the Shawnee neighborhood.
Louisville police responded to a call of a shooting in the 600 block of Lindell Avenue just after 8 p.m. Saturday, April 19. Officers arrived to find a man who had been shot. He was taken to UofL Hospital with serious injuries, but not life-threatening, according to Louisville Metro Police Department.
Just after 9 a.m. Sunday, Louisville Metro Police Department said they had arrested 67-year-old James Schooler and charged him with assault in connection to the shooting.
Schooler will be in court Monday, April 21.
