The Bowling Green-Warren County Drug Task Force and Warren County Sheriff’s Office arrested two people and seized a large quantity of methamphetamine Tuesday morning.
Just after 7 a.m., Warren County Sheriff’s deputies conducted a traffic stop five miles South of Bowling Green on I-65. Drug Task Force detectives, deputies, and a K-9 located 8.6 pounds of Mexican Crystal Methamphetamine in the car.
Officials also located 22 Clonazepam Tablets, 6.6 grams of marijuana, two handguns, one of them stolen from Nashville, Tennessee, and $640 in cash.
Joshua Steven Webster, age 37 of 1125 Old Barren River Road, Bowling Green, Kentucky is charged with:
Trafficking in Controlled Substance, First Degree, Class C Felony (Methamphetamine) (Hand Gun Enhancement)
Possession of Marijuana,
Possession of a Handgun by a Convicted Felon
Receiving Stolen Property (Hand Gun Stolen in Nashville)
Possession of Controlled Substance, 3rd Degree (Clonazepam)
Todd Allen Dooley, age 41 of 387 Nellie Way, Brooks, Kentucky is charged with:
Trafficking in Controlled Substance, First Degree, Class C Felony (Methamphetamine) (Hand Gun Enhancement)
Possession of Marijuana,
Possession of a Handgun by a Convicted Felon
Receiving Stolen Property (Hand Gun Stolen in Nashville)
Possession of Controlled Substance, 3rd Degree (Clonazepam)
Excessive Windshield/Window Tint
Failure to Maintain Required Vehicle Insurance
Operating on a Suspended or Revoked License
Webster and Dooley are being held in the Warren County Regional Jail without bond.
