A felony theft suspect spotting in Lowe’s led to Bowling Green Police arresting five people on various charges.
On April 22, Bowling Green Police Department was contacted by Lowe’s Asset Protection regarding the presence of Dwane Holschuh, who had previously committed a felony theft from the store on April 5.
He was also known to have several active warrants for unrelated charges. Officers responded to the store and took Holschuh into custody for the theft and outstanding warrants.
Through further investigation, it was determined that Holschuh had been in the company of multiple people, some that had an active warrants.
Officers located the other individuals on the 1900 block of Mel Browning Street and placed them in custody for various charges.
Bowling Green Police Department recovered Three handguns (two of which had defaced serial numbers), Methamphetamine (over 2 grams), Marijuana, Drug paraphernalia and Stolen personal identifying information.
Dwane Holschuh was charged with Theft by Unlawful Taking – Shoplifting (Over $1,000) and Multiple active warrants.
Robert Petrie was charged with Trafficking in Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine > 2 grams) – Firearm Enhanced, Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Joshua Powell was charged with Trafficking in Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine > 2 grams) – Firearm Enhanced, Convicted Felon in Possession of a Handgun, Possession of a Defaced Firearm and
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Tyler Rasner was arrested for a Bench Warrant.
McKenzie Cooper-King was arrested on Multiple active warrants.
