When the Ohio County Sheriff Deputy made contact, the driver of the vehicle wasn’t able to provide a valid operator’s license, proof of insurance, or registration. An Ohio County Sheriff’s Office K-9 alerted on the vehicle, and a search of the vehicle was conducted.
During the search, the deputy located suspected methamphetamine and items typically associated with the use of the drug.
The suspect was arrested and transported to the Ohio County Detention Center.
She was charged with the following:

No Registration Receipt

Failure to produce an Insurance Card
Improper Registration Plate
Possession of Controlled Substance 1st Degree, 1st Offense

After being fingerprinted at the jail, it was discovered that the suspect had given the deputy another person’s name and date of birth. She was correctly identified as Theresa Givens, and it was revealed that she was wanted by Kentucky Probation and Parole.
Givens subsequently received additional charges.
