A man is hospitalized in critical condition after being hit by a vehicle that fled the scene early Saturday (05/03) morning.
Louisville Metro police say it happened around 4:30 a.m. in the 400 block of S. 2nd Street, which is outside the Omni Louisville Hotel.
According to Louisville Metro Police Department, the man was in the roadway on 2nd Street when he was hit by an unknown passenger vehicle. Witnesses told officers the vehicle continued northbound on 2nd Street toward the Clark Memorial Bridge.
The victim is being treated at UofL Hospital.
Louisville Metro Police Department is asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident or might have cell phone footage to call to the department’s anonymous crime tip line at 502-574-LMPD (5673).
